We were in Zakho for the Kurdish traditional clothes festival in April, 2025 with emotions and great feelings that we shared with Zakho people. 

Dalal bridge Corniche

Great atmosphere there in Dalal bridge Corniche with music Spirit on the street from Ezda music group, The photo captures a vibrant scene on Zakho Corniche, where traditional music comes alive. we made people laugh and smile, playing instruments such as the oud, daf. The street is bustling with people of all ages, many clapping and swaying to the rhythmic melodies. Colorful fabrics and traditional patterns adorn both the performers and the surrounding market stalls, enhancing the authentic atmosphere. Sunlight filters through the narrow street, casting warm hues over the gathering, emphasizing the deep cultural heritage preserved through this timeless musical expression. 

The Zakho people hail from the city of Zakho in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, known for their rich cultural heritage and diverse ethnic composition. Predominantly Kurdish, they contribute significantly to the area's vibrancy through their traditions, language, and social customs. The Zakho community is recognized for its historical role as a trade hub due to its strategic location near the Turkey-Iraq border. Their culture embodies a unique blend of ancient influences and modern developments, reflected in their music, cuisine, and daily life. This group remains an integral part of the socio-economic fabric of the region, maintaining strong communal ties and a resilient spirit amidst changing political landscapes

With Tunisia consul

On November 11, 2025, Ezda Music had the privilege of meeting with the Consul of Tunisia to discuss potential cultural collaborations and expand musical exchanges between Tunisia and our organization. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to showcase Tunisian musical heritage through joint events, artist exchanges, and educational programs. We explored avenues to highlight traditional Tunisian instruments and modern musical talents, aiming to foster a deeper appreciation for Tunisia’s vibrant music scene within the American market. Discussions also included support for upcoming Tunisian artists and the possibility of hosting concerts and workshops that emphasize Tunisia’s unique cultural identity. This engagement underscores Ezda Music’s commitment to promoting global musical diversity and strengthening international cultural ties through strategic partnerships. We look forward to further developing this promising collaboration to benefit artists and audiences alike.
